I started out on the construction crew of a well known Dallas pool company, then worked my way up to construction manager at McGee Pool & Patio in Plano, Texas. Then started my own company in 1984 that installed specialty tile and coping to area swimming pool companies. While still running Robinson Tile & Coping my wife and I started a second business called Curbmaster which installed concrete designer landscape borders for the Dallas/Ft.Worth area - which we ran and operated for 17 years. Wanting to concentrate more on the pool business I formed Designer Pools & Landscape and have been running this business solely for the last 8 years. This is a small specialty swimming pool company where you the buyer get my undivided attention to your pool through every phase of the pool construction and I am on the job site regularly, if not daily. I am only as far away from the new pool owner as my cell phone so if there are any questions I am available at all times – literally, just ask my clients. By Being a small pool company I have a lot more control over the work site. I am there personally and can handle any changes, concerns (homeowners or contractors)or problems right then and there without the wait that there would be in a large organization. I oversee the entire process. My job as pool builder is to make building a pool as easy as I can for the homeowner and to get the pool done right and on time. Your job is to swim and have fun. We had multiple estimates and had looked at several different structures and the one you built, while very reasonable was outstanding to view and is very durable in which we are very pleased. I was also impressed with your level of involvement during each phase of construction, you were here every time an important activity was going on and closely supervised the subs making sure they did things right on our behalf and keep the project on schedule. I have never had that level of involvement during a construction project in the past, thank you.
